What does a CrossFit Kids Summer class look like?
Warm-up
Our warm ups will focus on 2 things:
1. Prepping the body to move.
2. Developing sound movement and technique. We do this all while focusing on fun. Your kids will get to act like gorillas, frogs, snakes, and more.
Workout
Workouts should be fun and something kids desire to do! We keep them short, engaging, and have options so everyone can participate!
Game
Have we mentioned we want to have fun? Games are a great way to get kids moving and doing fitness in disguise!
Meet Coach Josh aka Lakelynn’s Dad
Coach Josh brings the perfect mix of energy, experience, and heart to our CrossFit Kids program. Josh is a Level 3 CrossFit Trainer with over five years of coaching and seven years of CrossFit under his belt. He’s passionate about helping kids build strength, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement.
Josh also holds a Master of Arts in Youth and Family Ministry and has spent more than 10 years working with kids and teens in youth ministry. His background gives him a unique ability to connect with young athletes, making fitness fun, encouraging, and safe.
Whether he’s leading warm-ups, teaching technique, or playing games, Coach Josh is a kid at heart who knows how to motivate, inspire, and make every class a blast. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are in caring, capable hands with someone who genuinely loves what he does.
